Hamilton Grove is the newest of the single family home communities in Grand Oaks Plantation.
Built by Beazer Homes in multiple phases, it was completed in 2007 and turned over to the homeowners.
Its unique location within Grand Oaks is bounded by fountains at each of two entrances on Ashley Gardens Boulevard with close proximity to the new city park.
Many of the two hundred fifty-six homes in the community enjoy views of the eleven ponds and wooded wetlands located throughout. Pedestrian right of ways give residents access to these areas, which on any day may be visited by herons, eagles, alligators, and egrets among other Lowcountry wildlife.
Hamilton Grove is the only Grand Oaks community with sidewalks on both sides of the street, and has the largest swimming pool in Grand Oaks.

The community is governed by a three-member board of directors, each elected to serve a three-year term. Committees work with the board in a number of different areas including social activities, architectural control, landscaping and pool maintenance.
An annual homeowners association meeting is held in March.
Homeowners are bound by covenants and restrictions which assure the integrity of the community. Each home is assessed $450 per year in dues which cover all costs related to maintaining the community and its common grounds.
